Dave began studying guitar at the age of 13.  Early influences include the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Jethro Tull.  In 1981 he entered Berklee College of Music in Boston to study jazz.   Ironically it was at Berklee that he developed a love for the classical guitar.  Over the years his playing evolved into a style that blends elements of classical, jazz, blues and folk. Influences include such diverse artists as Rev. Gary Davis, Muddy Waters, Christopher Parkening and Django Reinhardt to name a few.

During the 80's and 90's Dave played mostly as a solo artist in resturants and coffee houses around NJ.  Notable performances included Newark's Symphony Hall and First Night in Montclair.

For the last 10 years or so Dave's musical career had been placed on hold, but he has begun performing and recording again in 2007.  His new music combines his varied influences into a sound that most would call Blues, but which is uniquely his own.  Look for him performing in the NY/NJ area soon.
